The Aoves of Bravoleum conquer new palates in Jaén

Bravoleum, Hacienda El Palo offered yesterday an unprecedented Master Class in the Carrefour shopping center of the capital Jaen. The appointment, scheduled for 19:30 p.m. in the Bakery section of the center, became a successful master class led by expert Maria Paz Aguilera, head of the tasting Panel of Citoliva, who announced the excellence of the Monovarietal aoves of Bravoleum, special selection Hacienda el Palo.

The objective of this activity was to disseminate the olive culture through the tasting of these aoves, as well as the main differences, especially organoleptic, among the varieties of oils present.  To do this, Hacienda El Palo exhibited one of its trademarks that more national and international awards accumulates, being present, for example, the recently awarded with the distinctive Jaén selección 2017 Bravoleum Picual, special selection, in addition to the Varieties Arbequina, Nevadillo White and Frantoio, all of superior category and early harvest.

Hacienda El Palo took advantage of this event to present its new variety FRANTOIO, recently incorporated into the range of Bravoleum oils, which is a native variety of Italian Tuscany, cultivated in olive trees in the countryside of Jaén. This oil returns aromas of olive grass and leaf, also recalling fruits such as almond alloza, banana and apple with a slight bitterness and something more pungent, ideal for maridad dishes, marinated, carpaccios, as well as grilled fish, pasta and sauces.

The attendees of this tasting highlighted not only the quality of the olive juices present, but also the flavor and aroma differentiators of these extra virgin olive oils born in Jaén, emphasizing also the need to promote this type of activities in the Province in order to stimulate the knowledge of the culture of the olive Grove and among the native population.
